these probably won't generate too much excitement on the tgp, but man are these dunlop pedals are fantastic. the 78 distortion is much different than i expected it to be. i'm using it as a clean boost and sometimes to add just the slightest bit of breakup. it can also get a ton of gain. as a boost it adds a really nice clarity to your tone if you want it to. it doesn't really add brightness, just clearness...clarity!
the overdrive is just as awesome. works great as a boost, but i use it as a really nice overdrive box for rhythm or to add overdrive on amp overdrive. really emphasizes the right freqs.
i'm really blown away by these two pedals. on top of the tone, the price and build quality it outstanding. even when running the pedals on a noisy daisy chain, there's no click at all when switching the pedal on and off. i've had lots of handmade stuff that can't do that.
anway, what i'm saying is that at any price point, these pedals are worth the money due to the way the function and sound. great stuff. well done, dunlop!
anyone else digging these?
ps--ignore the settings on the pedals. they got all twisted when i took them off my board.
