Just replaced the existing custom Dimarzio on my McInturff Forum Guitar to Lollar P90s. Also changed the original cream pickups to black. Switched both the pickup selector n knobs from cream and ample to black. Loving the new look!!!

First impression? THe Lollar seems to articulate each strings clearly. Not as hot as the Dimarzio but perfect for blues n jazz. Will do a comparison against the Collings 290 soon. Will be interesting to hear how it differs on this chambered maple/mahogany body.

    Here's some photos as usual.

Lollar P-90's appear to work particularly well in TCM's. My Royal has a Lollar set of three it it just might be the best sounding guitar that I have.

Thanks. That's the reason why I chose it based on good feedback from here.

Which P-90s did you get, the regular or the low winds?

The black covers work well on your McInturff.
