Oasis record demos with GarageBand

    hmmmmmm does music radar not allow their site to be linked or is this a TGP thing

    I think Garageband is great for ideas. I can understand them using it. No point ggetting over complex for demos. Plug in and record.

    My two newest songs were both demo'd to my band with garageband. In fact, I simply picked up my electric guitar, used the mic on the Imac and got started. Even sang the vocals and bgv's through the Imacs built in mic. Did it sound like something I wanted the public to hear? No. But for my band to learn the song and think about their parts it worked great.

    Thanks for the link - I love Oasis. Bloody brilliant rock/pop band. I guess they're Gods over in Britain, but in the US they never got as much exposure as they should have.

    they sure know how to craft a strong tune(and for me, that's what pop is all about). i don't have any of their discs but i always listen through when they are within earshot.

    matte, I hope that I can one day receive such high praise from you =)

    I think a lot of people underestimate GB because it is a free-with-purchase program, but that little guy can do a ton!
