I had the OC-3, with the intent of using it to fill in for a missing bass player. It sort of worked but I didn't like how synthy and unnatural the lower octave sounded and ended up selling it.

I loved the idea of a knob that sets what range gets octaved, where you could dial it in to only apply the lower octave to the bottom two strings or whatever. I wish that technology was replicated on a pedal that did better sounding octaves.

I did briefly mess around with putting the OC-3 on my bass board to do synth-bass sounding stuff on purpose - really lean into that weird unnatural sound it has - and it was much better for that but that's not a sound I ever really need.
