Had to grab this weird looking thing for 65% off of $1300 at $500, pretty much all the specs I'd want in an SG with a different body wood. Seymour 59's with push pulls (not a Phish fan but it's hard to argue with those split 59 neck tones), graphtech nuts, my favorite bridge of all time and les paul style controls.

Thanks for the lead on Dimarzio. I was interested in trying out the 36th anniversary and the discount forced my hand.

related question... when you get the message from MF "discount coupon does not apply to items in your cart, please call us".... if you have done that, how much were you able to talk them down? Just curious, there's a guitar I'm looking at.....

What is that?

Those have a 43 mm nut width too, which makes a big difference, IMO. :aok A lot of MIMs have a 42 mm nut width, which makes me feel just a little cramped when playing open chords.
I think that is a misprint. GC website shows 43mm nut width on all Player series strats even though they are listed as 42mm on Fender’s website (strangely the Player Teles are reflecting the correct spec).

Any time I've called they gave me whatever the discount on the coupon was, unless it is something that is already marked down. If it is already marked down, they usually won't allow further discounts.

I saw lots of guitar necks on Reverb last night and this morning. Used VG and Exc OEM for $60-$80, worth a few searches but the stuff hanging out in my cart was bought up by the time I was finished shopping!

Worked for me as well, except for one time, the sales rep refused to apply the discount.

Anyone find anything more than 15% for Mono gig bags? I should've pulled the trigger last month for 25% with the ROCKOBTER

MF cancelled the order for the one SDOTH that I bought which was the pedalboard, no explanation other than to say it would be days before refund credited, thankfully I bought the ‘73 Ram’s Head & Tree of Life from Vick Audio at 20% off, definitely a bright spot on what would have been another 2020 disappointment.

2019. Although really it will be hard to look good compared to the CME Gibson Memphis blowout of 2018
I would say 2019 was a lot better than this year...We had a plenty of pedal deals last year, and almost 250 posts in the 2019 BF thread

I was disappointed with most of the "deals," but Sweetwater gave me a great discount on the new Epiphone Casino (worn blue and backordered) and Riviera (sparkling burgundy), as well as a sizable discount on 10 packs of strings and another 15% off the advertised 15 on a JHS pedal I've been wanting (haunting mids). I can't complain, I suppose. Just bummed I didn't find an amazing buy. Unless something crazy pops up tomorrow, I'm putting the other couple grand I'd set aside for crazy deals toward my mortgage.~
