Walked into a guitar store today and got this for a nice price - Custom Shop Historic Firebird V Reverse in Inverness Green. Never even thought for a second I would be into this (well, I always loved the look) but it is one hell of a guitar - I haven't bought a new or used Gibson in a long time but this one is top notch, really impressed with the finish work and the sound/playability is fantastic!

Happy! I'll try to take some better pics and post shortly.

Firebirds are so cool looking and that's a great color. I'll take it! Oh wait, you're not selling are you.

    Nice score.

Wicked cool. Always thought the Firebirds with the lyre vibrato looked especially right.

Killer, it almost looks sea foam in that light. Firebirds are just all kind of awesome.

Isn't it interesting how Firebirds seem to be able to straddle all styles, where something like an Explorer is pretty much relegated to Metal?

That kind of looks eerily like the "aged sherwood green" firebird that GreenKight18 posted. I've fallen in love with that color.
I've only seen professional shots of modern inverness green finishes and they seem a little more vibrant, kind of blueish-teal, to my eyes. Could it be a refinish?

Either way, you got a real beauty!!! Congrats!

Hey, not a refin, it is brand new :)

Could be something other than Inverness Green, I suppose...I will call Gibson and see what they have on record.
