MBritt 3P Plexi Klon 2.1
MBritt 70 Marshall SL 2
MBritt Mars 70 IMP (not really a "plexi" I guess but awesome nonetheless)
Top Jimi TJ-68 SuperLead 8
I also dig the whole Soundside Plexi pack for studio work.
I quite like the Cornell Plexi profiles from TAF.
I'll have to check out these. I have a few gigs coming up and have to get some live rigs sorted.
The Marshall® JMP 1959 HW from http://www.soundside.de/shop/Profiles.htm
My jaw dropped when I heard it. Check out the sound/video clips there.
Check out rigbusters. Amazing profiles. The Cornish and BB profiles are nothing short of great. First profiles I did not have to change at all to sound good. Highly recommened.
+1. These stomp profiles are outstanding and unique. The Cmat Brownie is incredible.
if these males are that good at profiling distortion pedals maybe they will eventually do amplifiers as well....
I hope so. They are fan-friggin-tastic!
Those profiles are very nice but they are not plexi, like the OP was asking about.
The term Plexi can also be vague. My metro 12000 series which is a 68 100 watt plexi style is completely different than my Germino club 40 which is a "plexi" jmp50. Some plexi's seem to have more gain as well. Can the OP give a frame of reference for what particular plexi tone he is looking for?
Classic Marshall Plexi. Jumpered, Non-jumped. Cranked, Clean..I don't care if it's a PLexi clone I want to be the real circuit the real deal that you hear on so many classic recordings

just to keep this beautiful thread alive I have to give honorable mention to the %13 LDW 39 from MBritt
it's a little more open and slightly different than a plexi but it can be dialed in similarly and it's one of my fave profiles
I use that one a lot as well.. I have probably 200 great plexi profiles from TAF, Soundside, Top Jimi, and Michael Brit... There isn't a best, just different flavors..
I found a great one in the exchange today, WS PLEXI v8 by Simone Bertolotti. I tweaked it a little, but it's really good.
Anything new on the plexi front you like?
mbritt '72. infatuated with this one
