since you are new here let me say, welcome. i should also probably tell you that i pretty much run the place. i let scott moderate the place but he takes all orders from me. also, i noticed a lot of redundancies in your gear. primarily, too many strats. i'll pm you my address so you can "donate" one of your "too many" strats to me. thats customary for new members. lastly, i am just curious...how did you hear about my "gear page"

    thank you, bobby "sweetHANDS"

lol :rotflmao Sure thing just give me the address, (PM of course) and I'll get them right out to you. :)

I heard about it from the great guys over at the Les Paul Forum. They speak very highly of The Gear Page so I had to check it out.

How do you like the SG special faded? I picked one up for my son and there are things I like and things I don't. How's yours on tuning stability/intonation?

Tuning/ intonation is perfect!! Much better than my Studio. I really dig the guitar but since I am a strat player it rarely gets played. Easy easy easy access to the higher digits, great tone, perfect for tuning and not neck heavy like some others. Not sure if I just got a good one or what but I have good fret edges and everything.

Yup, I had to have one when I heard about the upgrades. Much much better than the ealier models. The nitro isn't like other nitro guitars I have but still a nice finish. I would be curious to know what exactly they are using. The pickups are MUCH better in this model. I'm just going to leave them alone. I have a set of compensated saddles that should be here this week for it and that is all I am doing to it.
