Yeah... I'm old, I get that fashions change and things become cool and not so cool. But I also have some freakin' common sense. Yet I really need a younger TGP'er to explain this one, because I just don't get it. For the record, I'm not over 50. SOOOOOOO:

It's 85 degrees out but you're wearing a wool cap? It's actually causing your head to sweat and your hair to stink, but you keep it on anyways? Please tell me why this is cool? I mean... you're actually making yourself uncomfortable to be hip. REALLY?!?

So which current hipster fad has you confuzzled the most?

    (get off my lawn!)

I dont understand ear gauges at all. Everything else, while not appealing to me much, I can at least pretend i see its trajectory.

Vaping and ear gauges? Wrong crowd. The twisted mustache, man-bun, cafe-motorcycle riding programmers you speak of smoke American Spirits, Nat Shermans or hand-rolled, and are typically pretty light on piercings.

Good thing young folks in the 60s-90s didn't wear unusual attire...

Who cares? I think it's harmlessly adorable. (I'm almost 45 btw...)

Its so they have a place to hang their keys while riding their uni-gear cycles. After all those jeans are very skinny

Guys were doing man-buns in the 70's . You have to be a beautiful man though otherwise you look like a mental patient .

I walked around the house with a wool cap like Mike Nesmith of the Monkees when I was 13.

The ear lobe thing is the one for me, now that's a strange commitment indeed.
