    ON fedex vehicle for delivery.

I shouldn't have played it at Ron's...I'm weak....weak....but it RULES....
I wanted it since the amp show, and finally caved.

It's like James Burton meets Tattoo Flash with all that Jr90 goodness....

Awesome Mike! Your weakness at least has good taste.

To strengthen yourself you should give me a Greer or Reinhardt amp. I don't know how that will make you stronger, but it will make me sound better.

    Wow, Mike!

Cool is the word. What are those pick ups? Early P90 types?
How would you describe the neck? The backwards controls make a lot of sense.

You should have those fishes tattooed on your butt (or somewhere)......

    Best, Pete.

Sweet guit! I love coi. They're supposed to be good luck in 3s. (I want to get a 3 coi tattoo on my right rib cage --- if I ever get back in shape. I know, it means I'm "easy". :D) 4 sets of 3 on the front is lots of good luck! Congrats.

This is actually my second Jr90 Pete. My other is a hardtail, that will now get the 'esquire' treatment. THe trem version sounds very different to me.

    4 position switch, very useful.

The neck is a nice medium C with Ron's compound radius. I find it very comfortable and not fatiguing at all. Seems to be a neck most everyone can get on with too.

The P90's are Ron's 'in house' P90's with stapletops of course. very cool vibe, and the best sounding P90's I've ever heard.

Thanks for the well wishes! A tattoo did cross my mind, I've always loved Japanese tattoo flash...probably why I went so gaga. It's black limba with the world's best singlecut neck joint for my taste.

Lord I hope I'm done for the next couple years...

Mike, It's difficult to make out from the photos but how are the Koi applied. Are they painted, transfers or engraved?

    Best, Pete.

Ron drew the flash, and it was transferd and cut to a foil decal that's in the clear coat. Really beautiful.

    Don. Me? Slut? Pot...kettlle....

And you know... I actually refrained from making any pithy comment to that effect.

Believe me, it was NOT easy...

Great score Big Mike. I saw that bad boy up close @ Ron's during the post NAMM party. It is a beauty!

    Nice!

I was a little wishywashyat first but I have now totally bonded with my tremmed Jr.90. Absolutely my favorite by far, and the guys in the band love it as well. Hardly reach for anything else.

I remember in my thread when I got my Jr90 I joked I needed a hardtail now, to which you responded you needed a tremmed one . . .

Well, I guess you got it. Congrats! How do you characterize the differences between a tremmed and a hardtail?

Hey Mike... Fantastic guitar! There are lots of people on TGP who don't like fancy guitars or Gold plated hardware, etc, but I'm not one of them. :D

How do Ron's P90s compare or differ from standard P90s? Are they noiseless too?

    Hey Mike,
Congrats on one very spectacular and unique guitar. Who could blame you for caving into it.

Are you one of the fellow Grissom model PRS wanters too?
