olympus ds10, korg mr1 or sony d50?

    which recorder has the best sound quality for recording band practice and field recordings? out of the korg mr1, sony d50 or the olympus ds10? any info greatly appreciated.Scott

    Not sure about the other two, but I bough a Sony D50 a couple of months ago. I've had a Zoom H4 for over a year that I thought was quite good (and I liked the overdub capability). But the Sony is better sounding and I can get some very good recording using the builtin mics, even when compared to some halfway decent mics and preamps I have for my computer system.

    I really like the Sony, plus it has a big meter and overload lights that make it easy to use. It has a cool limiter too that let's you play and record without a lot of hassle, or worries about overloads.
