I have had more inquiries into my amp and settings since I posted the dry solo clips in the Amps & Cabs section. Here is an original tune with the Omega HRD playing the head & solo. It is a Squier Strat with Deltatone pickups from an American Standard. Just the amp with a Line6 delay modeler in the effects loop. Recorded with an Audix i5 direct into Acid. Everything is me but the drum loops. http://members.cox.net/brugly/music/davage.mp3

    Great clip Stelligan! Nice groovin'

I thought the tone was fat and saturated, but the overly wet tone killed the natural amp harmonics (on the melody)

The solo was a too hot and the effects once again squashed the natural tube tone.

Way to play though! Seems I clicked on this as you posted! Cool......

    Scott,

Thanks for the feedback. I didn't do much mixing on the track - and didn't realize how much louder that modulation patch was on the modeler. Gotta get the manual out and do some tweakin' !
    Thanks again.
