This has me squirming like a toad. The clips sound like the real deal. I stupidly sold my Univox Superfuzz 5 years ago and have been kicking myself ever since.

I cannot wait to get one of these.

I can't get their link with the audio demo to work, says there is a plug in error.

Sound clips work fine, it must be your computer.

I'll wait for V.2 to come out, as I thought the Shin-Ei sounded punchier and less noisy/more defined.

Glad someone is trying to make a clone though!

Worked for me too. That thing sounds great. The price tag is pretty killer too.

Wow, it looks really good. Gotta check the sound clip later. Cosmetically it is identical to my Apollo version of the Superfuzz.

    FYI,

Been reading about this fuzz on HC. It appears that they did a few more tweaks after they made the sound clips, and now it's identical on a scope!

These guys are serious about making THE clone!

I am officially on the list!

Are the innards including the Silicon trannies and the tropical fish caps the same make and value throughout. I would like a backup to my 40 year old Apollo version which is identical to the Univox, Shin-Ei and Shaftsebury Duo Fuzz.

I liked the Wattson samples, but I found them thinner on BOTH shoot outs...

Yeah, that's what I thought too. But supposedly they have re-worked it a bit since the clips were made to get it spot on.

I'm going to give it a go. Will report back when I get it. However with that said, I definitely would sell a shin-ei if I had one!

It sounds like they got the tone down good.
I checked out their site - I like their philosophy; seems straightforward no-BS.
