If you were in tight quarters & only had room for one guitar, which would you choose?

I want it to be the G&L Comanche:

The pickups are humbucking, similar to those in a Precision bass.

There treble & boost cut knobs, as well as switched to operate neck+bridge or all 3 pickups at once.

    Here are the complete specs:

    • CONSTRUCTION: bolt-on
    • SCALE: 25 1/2"
    • PICKUPS: Leo Fender†-designed G&L MFD™ Z-Coil™ hum-cancelling
    • BODY WOOD: Swamp Ash on Premier Finishes, Alder on Standard Finishes
    • NECK WOOD: Hard-Rock Maple with Maple or Rosewood fingerboard
    • NECK PROFILE: G&L Modern Classic with 9 1/2" radius
    • NUT: 100% natural bone
    • FRETS: 22 medium jumbo, Jescar 57110 18% nickel silver
    • TUNING KEYS: 12:1 ratio, sealed-back
    • BRIDGE: Leo Fender-designed G&L Dual-Fulcrum™ vibrato with forged brass saddles
    • CONTROLS: 5-position pickup selector, volume, treble, bass (PTB™ system), mini-toggle expander switch enabling additional pickup combinations of neck+bridge or all three pickups together.
    • CASE: deluxe Tolex hardshell

:aok Ok, I'll take yours. Seriously, however, one wouldn't make it worth living. One would force me to tap/split the coils and hence, settle for less than the best - but I would have two guitars in one.

You are the first I have ever met who has suggested a Rosewood board on a Maple neck the combo is quite enticing to me. My closets approach was Ebony on Maple.

    I'd probably go with a red 335.

The answer is always double cut Les Paul Junior.

gotta be a Strat and gotta have a full scalloped fretboard...which leaves me one option. Yngwie Malmsteen Signature.

    question is, which color scheme?:

I'm pretty sure the correct answer rhymes with "elecaster"

I'm surprised the YJM has a six-point bridge. Those are so last century.

yeah, but you said no mods. :(

My ideal Strat is an HSS, with two-point trem, scalloped fretboard and roller nut. But there is no stock version of that.

I can understand why the EC Strat is six-point, as I don't recall him using the vibrato arm, but I would think Yngwie would prefer the smoothness of the 2-point.
It kind of gets my goat that the six-point is pretty much the standard with Fender, which I disagree with. The six-point is an outdated design.
BTW, my Mexican Strat is still a six-point, and it bugs me a little, but not enough to make the mod.

believe it or not, I have 7 Strats and they're all 6-point. I know I prefer the 2-point because my brother has a Deluxe Strat with one, and I definitely prefer it. I did have a Wilkinson trem on one of my strats for a while, and that was a killer trem. A part broke, and i never got around to replacing it.

    looked like this one:
