Here's a quick video-sketch of a baritone arrangement I've been working up for this old King Crimson favorite of mine. Fripp's parts sound wonderful as they were so I mainly went after the bass-line, chords, and vocal melody. "One More Red Nightmare" http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5373837035811671268&hl=en I'm using a ton of effects with my Grosh baritone to keep me in the prog mood here. I start through a Subdecay Prometheus which comes in at (2:30) for the sample-filter sounds. Next I'm hitting a Celmo compressor for some squash and hair and then a Mad Professor phaser set for deep slow swirl and finally into a little 4x4.5" Roland bass RX cube with it's onboard octave, delay, and autofilter all engaged. This surprising little amp has been perfect for playing the bari at moderate levels around the apartment or on the go.
