If you have the time to listen to the entire thing... I think you'll dig this. The interplay between the strings and guitar during the middle of the song make it worth while... even if it is not your cup-o-noodles.

I heard that the first time you posted it in another thread.Great tune and playing,reminds a lot of the early Timmons vibe.But really great,chops playing and melody going on.Definitely loved the harmonized parts!

Wow!! One page of comments and already 30 dudes, an eek and a rockin!! Seriously... I really appreciate the feedback! I had a lot-o-fun recording this and it's nice to hear that other people enjoyed it as well.

I was sooo diggin' this from the point where the ethnic drums kick in with the rythm... and the little chord break/harmony lead answer and call thingy it goes into.

When I originally posted the idea, it was just the verse/chorus portion of the song as an idea with the thought of a concept instrumental album that had a written story that goes with it... I think I have the basis for the story now and am anxious to see how it comes out.

Again... I appreciate all the feedback!

gainfreak - thanks a ton for taking to the time to respond! I actually like a wide varity of tones... I just might like yours too!! I appreciate the honest feedback.

There are parts of the sound I am getting that I like and parts that I don't like. The mic that I am using currently is good at capturing the highs IMO... but it doesn't do the mids and lows justice. One of these days, I'll find a mic (or combination of mics) that give the same representation of the highs and captures the others as well.

One of these days I'll get it right!! Now, I just need to not be so afraid of further experimentation
