I took soem member's advice and installed an Eminence Ramrod in my Fender Pro Junior! Holy S**T Batman!!!!!!! That's one smokin little amp!
I put it right up there with my Budda and DRRI. Great tones, tight bass - smooth highs! Singing sustain-into-feedback!! "Yeah Bably" I love it. Now what to do with the 10" speaker I took out?

    Thanks TGP and Eminence.

Yeah, I really like the Ramrod. I have had one in a little LC15 for a few years. Perfect for the amp. Early breakup and clarity on the top end.

    Glad you like it Denny.

Yeh, Jeff Andrews was the one that suggested the Ramrod in my Pro Jr. and it couldn't have been a better choice. I love that amp! And Jeff. But not that way;^)

Save the original speaker. Put it in the box the Ramrod came in (you DID save the box, no?)...

Can you describe in detail how the Ramrod sounds?

    From the Eminence Web Site:

"Coloration: Very loud, gutsy, and meaty tone with singing highs and nice, clear overtones

Genre: British Rock and Blues, Country and Jazz"

Bingo!! Except I'd add there's a sweetness in there somewhere that's hard to explain.

The Ramrod is an awesome little speaker. Very clear and full, but with clarity and chime...pretty dang good combination!
