    Just for larks...

I was really just testing my camera... but... well... my son hits a harmonic on me with a stuffed dog... and then I hit another ah by dropping it... I'm working on mastering this technique now... and soon noone will be greatly in awe of my skills!

BTW: The amp is a Heritage Briton II with a Lexicon MPXthing in the fx loop for some verb. I'm a huge fan of PaulC now! (especially after reading his posts in the 'clone' thread).

(I'd say 'enjoy', but if you've read this far, the sarcasm would only add to your suffering...)

See...ya gotta have a guitar for your accompanist. I learned this a couple of years ago and got my daughter her own twanger.

Really nice, full sounding strat tones there.

+1, the tones were great. The teddy bear harmonics were the icing on the cake.

Now I can relate to that...

I was sitting in the floor playing last month when my cat walked by. Her tail brushed a string just as I was hitting it and sent out a high harmonic... which sent Kato, the cat scurrying for cover. :D

Thanks for the vid and the amp g.a.s.!

(hmmm, those beanie-babies I saw at a garage sale this morning could make for an interesting prepared guitar...)
    ;)

Thanks for the kind words guys! I'm stoked on the Briton for sure.
Nothing compares to the boy, though...problem is, his current favorite guitar-related activity is to stick the pick in the strings while I'm playing... Think he's trying to tell me something...?

    Fatback,
    I can't resist... so... Kato's a Koto picker?!
Pursue the beanies if you want, but I thought you were killin' it with the Strongbad thing.
And as for gas... Back atcha for all the pains you've given me!

    Hey Matt,

That's a beautiful baby amp tech ya got there!
Mine is just starting to twist knobs and I'm terrified he'll find the MV and deafen us both!

    Take care,

    Chris

They do find the MV and then they look at us like.. Uh oh.. what to do now?..lol. I watched your video and thought, man I know exactly how that guy feels..lol. Can't wait to see if she will pick up a guitar one day and decide if she wants to play or not. Anyway, cool amp and cool kids :)

    Hah! so true!

Our daughter is 7 now and "taking lessons" but only when she feels like it... She even has dibs on a few guitars, but we'll see what happens... It's a great excuse...err...uh...REASON to get more gear! Thanks for the kind words and backatcha.

    Oh yeah, Arti Fufkin rocks!
