ive recently converted from dougs tubes to them too. im not paying $10 to ship a $12 tube. tube depot has a great selection, good prices (well, relative to the insane prices the market allows), and only a few bucks to ship a tube.
so far all the tubes i got from the tube depot worked out well.

Yeah important to emphasize on myself and my hifi buddy have never gotten a bad tube. Not saying it doesnt happen or cant happen but this kind of positive feedback is always good for a specialty business.

Found some nice sales on NOS tubes at TubeDepot and also picked up some other nos from the Tubestore. Both great companies to buy tubes from.

Eurotubes is already on the list.

I just wanted to add that they're great to deal with when it comes to warrantying a failed tube. Great experience with them. Out of the many i've bought from them, only one has failed.

Tube Depot for current production tubes. Fast delivery, excellent customer service. Solid pricing

Mike at KCA is always a good call for NOS tubes and is very knowledgeable/helpful.

Jim Cross at vwww.vacuumtubesinc.com is also an excellent source. I bought two matched quads of NOS military grade Sylvania 6V6GTY brown/miconol base power tubes (and another matched pair) from Jim - great service and great pricing. Also bought some NIB preamp tubes (including a literally museum condish RCA 7025) from Jim. Really nice guy; everything sounded great and worked as it should.

That has been my experience as well. I really like Thetubestore's website for the reviews of so many tubes. I grew up in Memphis, so I have some bias to TubeDepot, but I've bought some NOS tubes there and the whole experience was painless.
Thetubestore's selection of JAN 5751 and 12AT7 tubes has been great as they are NOS at very little more cost than current production - lately I've noticed that the 5751's are getting more expensive as more folks figure out how nice they are; but for the quality of the tubes the JAN's are still a bargain.

I've been using Doug's Tubes myself for my TungSol 6L6's.

I don't care for JJ tubes I did at first then I tried a lot of NOS tubes and found out JJ was Kmart standard stuff. I know some of you guys like them but you can do a lot better. Some of these companies seem to sell mostly JJ's. Must be a big profit margin.

In Australasia - RS Components Pty Ltd. World leading distributor of electronic components. The prices of their "pro" line of 6L6, EL34 and 12AX7 were a third to half the price of the specialist shops and on top of that, they have free next day courier delivery regardless of quantity! Amazing online service!

I go back and forth between tubedepot and thetubestore. dougstubes has some interesting offers, but his preamp tone kits are too generic. Not every 5 tube (or any other number) preamp section has the same function/layout. But, I've used tubesforamps.com on a couple occasions and haven't had a bad order yet. They have matched sextets available which is really nice so you can have 2 spare tubes for a quad should one or two fail on you. I can't speak for how knowledgeable they are, but their prices and options aren't bad. Not too great of a selection, especially with NOS, but still better than an unknown on Fleabay.

Tube Depot really is great, especially when you can get a discount code.

Mike at KCA NOS Tubes went above and beyond my expectations on a recent order. He has great customer service and is always there by email or phone.

I ordered $300 worth of power and preamp tubes. Had issues with biasing that turned out to be a bad multimeter. Mike made several exchanges and helped to diagnose the problem, making sure my amp and I were both happy in the end.

I have emailed Mike at KCA Nos tubes twice asking for a tube recommendation and have not got a response. Granted it was only one tube so maybe he only uses his time for bigger orders.
