My band, The Marcus King Band, will be opening for Mule at The Peace Center in Greenville, SC this Saturday (Aprill 11th). Marcus is a serious up and coming talent and the TGP folks will be aware of him soon enough. Here's an excerpt from news feature on the show today includes Warren on MKB. -

"We're all big fans and looking forward to their set. (He's) not only a great guitar player but a great singer and a really good songwriter. I'm very proud of his progress."- Warren Haynes

I'm obviously very excited for the gig and looking forward pushing things forward with this band. Great bunch of guys and monster players.

If they did't love your stuff, there's something wrong with them, not you. Your voice sounds right smack dab in the middle of Dr. John & Greg Allman. Your music is a unique form of jazzy/blues. You're a tasteful player, Marcus. Don't change your formula & stay true to yourself. You'll do just fine. Glad to hear soul isn't dead! :aok
