I cam accross a deal for a replica of a Hiwatt 2x12 made by BandMateUSA. It is loaded with 2 Sound City Fanes from the end of the 60's begining of the 70's. I believe them to be 122142 Fane .
I've used nothing but Celestion in the past but I have a JCM 800, a Reeves Custom 12 PS as well as a Tiny Terror that could need another cab. The seller is located hours away from where I live so I can't just "test" them easily.
Anyone know how vintage Fanes sound ? (compared to Celestions?)
