I have a chance to pick up an eden rig for pretty cheap. I've noticed they don't hold there value very well and wondered why. Are there models to stay away from? How are they built? Do they hold up, or are they in the shop alot? You know what I'm asking about... let me know what you think of them. Thanks

My experience (strictly from backline encounters) is they have a pre-emphasized eq bump, which is fine if you use that "modern/preferred" sound. I play mostly upright and like a flat, hi-fi representation, and use eq to compensate for any sonic charateristics the room/stage may present. A lotta knob twiddling is usually required to find "flat".

They are great rigs and hold up very well and sound good for the tone they are going for. There really isn't too much in that price point that keeps value. Seems to be a pretty strong depreciation on high end production line stuff in all worlds.
