What are some options for a 1x12 combo Dumble style Overdrive Special-I am aware of Glaswerks making a 1x12 and in a 25 watt version which is where I would like to be-I do not need 50 or 100 watt combos at this time. Suggestions please.

Sean, I was thinking the same thing. Especially since the 25 watter 1x12 is basedon the Texas version of the C-A and because I love the Bonamassa tones with the OD2R. Looks like a 1x12 combo is around $2800. which seems very reasonable for a pro level D style amp.

I was thinking of saving up for one but,my OD2 50 can be taken down to those levels and still deliver the goods.
My grab-n-go is a Vicky Deluxe and a Zendrive.
I may end up with a OD2R one day anyway.;)

The master volume on the Glaswerks is extremely effective - get the 50 watter and ask Gary to do a half power switch.

imo ods amps get their tones from the preamp, unless you're looking to get away from those tones, I wouldn't worry about the amp having too much power.

Exactly right, I agree. My 50w has great girth, even quiet.

Thanks for the Glaswerks info. My only concern is that I want to run an A/B with my XITS Sadie XS which is only 15 watts. I am worried that a 50 watt amp will overpower or be to loud a difference when switching between it and the Sadie.
