Hey check it out, just got a new 2x12! And it's orange...though it's not an Orange.

    It's a new Divided by 13 cab.

The speakers are mounted kitty-korner to eachother and the baffle is a little bit tilted, much like a Marshall 2061 cab. I've got some nicely broken in Celestions reissues in it--a Vintage 30 on the bottom and a G12H30 on the top. Now I guess I can comment when people ask the question, "How do the G12H30 and Vintage 30 work together with this amp?" Thing sounds positively fantastic with my Rockerverb 50.

So cool. Is that D/13 cab bigger sounding than the standard side by side 2X12 open back D/13 cab? So cool. That's my next cab...though probably not in orange.

    Ya Jon. How's trix? :p

No, it's not bigger sounding, no; it has much more of a 4x12 personality though. As you might expect - more punch, more focus, tighter lows.

I've played a JRT 9-15 and a RSA 23 through this cab. Freakin sounds great. The RSA 23 is particularly killer through this cab.

Hey Leon, the cab looks sweet.

I'm guessing that the /13 full size head will be too large to fit on this cab, or at least the ends will be hanging off the sides. Can you confirm this?

What are the dimensions of the cab? Is that cab 24" x 24" or a little smaller? Looks like it could be a nice closed back sounding cab in a transportable package.

Yes on all accounts, Rich. 24x24x12.

    Leon, that's very cool indeed!

I always liked those 2061's. The dimensions on yours (are they identical?) "sound" right to me.

    Best, Pete.

I've always liked orange amps & cabs (the color, although the brand is cool too) but never had the sack to get one, but I think this picture just changed my mind!

    Pete - I don't know the dimensions of the 2061, I'm sure they're similar...

Rich - It doesn't take a big sack to use orange (or Orange) gear...it just requires a sense of adventure and a willingness to humiliate one's self every now and then. hahahah!

Orange is my favorite color . . . especially with light sap green nearby, & marks of sky blue . . . and the smell of oil paints . . .

    . . . victory!

Damn, I'll have to admit that is nice lookin'. Better than I could have imagined. Me thinks the cream 'V' with gold piping is what really does it.
