Orange Cabinets?

zZounds has a really nice 8 payment deal on their 4x12's. I'd expect the cabs to be phenominal, does anyone have any experience w/ them?

They sound huge. Heavy cab. V30 sound even better once they have been broken in.

I have one. Well built and sounds good.

I prefer the sound of my Mesa 4x12... but what sounds better to me might sound worse to you.

I have a 1x12 and I've played through my cousin's 2x12. They look great and they're really overbuilt. They sound really good too, though idk if that's the cab or just the fact that V30s are good speakers.

Great build and sound. They excel at rock. Hard rock, stoner rock, alternative rock...rock.

Orange cabs just sound great...so do Mesa...both are spendy, but you get what you pay for tone wise me thinks.

I guess it depends how badly you want an Orange cab.
Otherwise, in this economy, that is a TON of money to pay for a 4x12 cab with V30's.

If you're within driving distance (Clemson,SC), I've got a Mesa 4x12 with v30s I'd let go for less than half that cab. Ouch, a bit hi on that Orange cab.

For rock, my orange cab is the best I've owned, including Mesa Marshall Bogner and many others

Orange cabs are great! They are a bit more "beamey" than other cabs with more separation in between the speakers and a bit bigger size, but I believe that this, along with it's depth is what gives it's unique sound.
And they look really cool too!!

I had and Orange cab. Very good cab. Very deep bass. They don't cut in the mix of a band like a Mesa or a Bogner, but it all depends on what kinda tone your going for. I rate THE best cabs Mesa, Bogner, then Orange. But that's just my opinion. Sold the Orange though. I had the ultimate chug tone with an Orange 4x12 on bottom, and Mesa 4x12 on top.

I would try to find used locally or within 2 hour drive. I have never bought a brand new cab and never will, just because you can pay half for used and they sound better with speakers broke in.

I have owned many cabs and currently own an orange ppc412, ppc212, Marshall 1960a, and DR. Z 1x12.. orange cabs are amazing.. they sound huge. if I am playing rock I will play through an orange cab.. best i've ever used

For me the only problem with this cabs is the weight!! apart from that, are great!!
