Planning on buying one of these heads next week. Decisions, Decisions. First world problems.

Love the tone of both but the Mesa is definitely more versatile.

Have any experience with either? Anything I should watch out for? I think both guys are asking a bit much for the amps so whoever is willing to deal may be a factor.

What does TGP consider to be the going price for either of these heads?

I don't know about value. The Orange isn't being made any more, so there is a limited amount of them out there. It is also the only one I have experience with of the two. The Rocker has a very good overdrive channel. Sounds like a good Orange....Marshall with more hair on it type of tone. The clean channel is a little anemic, and it breaks up early making it difficult to get a good clean tone and drive tone at the same time. Not sure why it was designed this way.

I have owned both amps. They do similar sounds but the Orange has a little more 'tude and the Mesa more power.
