I am heavily considering a Rockerverb 50, but I hear the loops aren't that great.

I use a lot of delay and other time based effects, so I'll need a decent loop for the gain stuff.

    My effects loop rocks.

I have an EH Soul Preacher, BBE MindBender and MXR Carbon Copy out front and a BBE Boosta Grande, Boss RE-20, Line6 Verbzilla and Tap Trem. They are amazing in the loop. Don't let the haters fool ya. ;)

IIRC, Orange was the first company to do FX loops on their amps.

I have a DD-20 in the loop of my RV50, no problems. Works very well.
Tried a clean boost in the loop though, and just got too much hum.

    Well that's that.

Time to find a place to order one from.

What's a nice reputable place to order an R50 head from?

    Looks like a nice place.

Thanks, dude! I'll check into it.

I'll probably end up ordering it today. :drink

Worse comes to worse, someone here will get a good deal. :D

I get my Orange stuff from Mojo's Music in Edwardsville. http://www.mojosmusic.com

Ask for Bob, the store owner and you won't be sorry.
