1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

Anyone have one? Played one? Was checking out youtube clips. Seems pretty badass.

It's fun, yes. Give it a shot, if you don't like it, flip it.

Tried both the head/cab and the combo...really like the combo...matches up quite well with single-coil-equipped guitars.

I took a $75 hit on one of the first Korean ones, after playing through it for an hour. I only sold it because I didn't need it. Couldn't resist.

Cool amp though. Kind of a one-trick pony..

I had one for a while. Does the British over-drive thing good, but that was all I liked about it. I agree with the one trick pony analogy. YMMV :)

I modded mine by removing a gain stage, swapping the OT for one designed for an 18 watt Marshall, and swapping all the signal caps for Sozos. Not a one trick pony anymore...

Either way a good deal for the $ especially used. A decent base for mods too.

Great amp for getting your Rawk on. Extraordinary recording amp too. I actually dig the stock tubes, whatever they are!
