1. The Gear Page is run by musicians for musicians. We listen, we learn and if we misstep we are not afraid to do the right thing. We proposed some changes to the Emporiums. Based on feedback from members, we have decided to not go ahead with those changes. However, it has also highlighted that we need some community input into what is working and what is not working for members here. Primarily focused on the Emporiums, we'd like input on your thoughts about TGP and how things work in the Emporiums for you and how you'd improve them. The discussion thread on the is here!

The decal thing was mighty popular in the olden days. It'd be hard to NOT find a fender player without some sort of pinup or something of the likes on the guitar. A few of Bill Frisell's old tele's have em, Jerry Garcia had a few guitars w/ it, Steve Kimock as well. Just a form of 'personalization' I guess...Just seems a little odd for the luthier to assign one to it, though.

I like that decal :AOK, I don’t think he assigns them, from his web site looks like everything is built to customer specs

They run around $1600 which is a fantastic deal for what you get.

Everything is done from scratch including hand shaping the neck, picking out the wood and cutting the bodies. All based on the things you are looking for in a guitar. He even likes to wait until the guitar is built to decide on pickups based on the tone the instrument naturally has. This is a totally customized instrument built in a vintage style with modern techniques. :dude

That decal is on John Fogerty's guitar, I saw it in the picture on Jeff's site and its just something he offers if you want. I got to be honest, I really like it and probably will get one on it. :dude
