Ordered a Reinhardt Vintage 50

    Very excited about this. It's going to have power scaling and a passive loop. I should get it at the end of september. I'll be doing a full review with audio and video.

    Bob doesn't normally do effects loops, did you have to twist his arm for that?

    Can you use pedals in a passive effects loop?

    The passive loop isn't a real loop. It's just a pair of shorted jacks in series prior to the phase inverter. You need some type of dumbleator in order to run pedals in there.

    I'm late here... did you get this amp, Jack? And could you explain this loop (and the Dumbleator, which I've heard of but don't know what it is) in a little more detail?
