Photographed this guitar for a friend a while ago and thought I'd share it. This is one of the rarest guitars I've seen, and I've seen a good amount of rare guitars. Likely one of a kind and in all original wonderful shape. 1957 Gibson Les Paul Custom. Triple Pickup but has 3 Individual Volume Knobs, one for each pickup and a Master Tone Knob where the selector switch should be. Thought some of you would get a kick out of it. I'll post some more pic's when I get a chance. Not For Sale BTW. ENJOY!!!

badass! I look at that guitar everyday when I'm teaching, I use an old Mickey Baker book for some of my students, I could never afford it even if you were selling it, I'll settled for my historic LP custom, damn, that is cool

    Too effing cool!

I met Mickey in the Sixties (and his wife) - I said to him "I preferred Tommy Steele's version of 'Love is Strange'" - I can't believe that I was such a dickhead! The guy was/is a real gentleman.

    Best, Pete.

Those Mickey Baker books were a huge part of learning different voicings when I was a knucklehead rock guy.

Mickey Baker Model! That's right, that's what my buddy said it was. I was drawing a blank when I posted the pic. Funny you posted that pic too, he had mentioned that someone had one with that Switchmaster type config.

Way cool. Exactly right Matte - the Mickey Baker model. Gawd, that's really very very cool and rare. Good for you.

Didja get to play it through an amp?
