They look a bit like what Sheldon Dingwall does with the staggered bridge and fanned frets, only a more modern take.

    Cool designs.

Yep, I opted for an SX. Expected delivery is in July, so now the wait begins :)

    How's it more modern?

Yeah, the Hype (blue one) is based on a Blackmachine. I've never had a fanned fret so I'm looking forward to trying it out.

The Hype GTR is a set neck. I've got a blue one on order.

I'm very excited to try one of Perry's guitar designs out!

The body shapes and headstock shapes, along with color choices seem more modern to me.

Dingwall doesn't employ the fanned fret and staggered bridge design for their guitars, just basses.

Lots of Hype soundclips on youtube. We technically haven't heard the pickups going in these though. They are the "same" but Perry isn't making them in house.

I'm in for one of these. :) Final payment went through today... Delivery has gone back a month or two, though on the other hand, there are now options for custom p/us and SS frets.

Those guitars are really nice. I've been following Ormsby on Facebook for a while and I really dig his designs. Would love to try one of those fanned fret guitars. I couldn't tell you why-I just find the design and concept really interesting.
