Hmmm... They each have their charms: The Metroplex is the perfect gigging amp for me. It sounds like a great old Marshall, but has the flexibility of choosing the different modes, a very effective master, the boost for pushing my solos out front, and a great effects loop. The Marshall Super is a classic. It just has THAT sound. It was hacked up when I got it, so I didn't feel too bad about adding a PPIMV and a Metro zero-loss effects loop. The JCM 800 2204 is another classic. Crank it up and it is the very definition of rock and roll. This one had already been modded with a tube-buffered effects loop when I got it.
