I fail to see the problem with anything he said. UCF has a perfect season and beat Auburn in the NY6 bowl. Auburn beat Bama and Georgia. I think UCF proved that they were worthy of the final 4.

problem is, the top4 teams have everything to play for. i'd wager UCF would lose by three touchdowns to any of them.

Really? They beat Auburn who beat two of them themselves. I wouldn’t get caught up in a name or a conference. Good football is good football.

i agree and believe that was an upset but think UCF had a huge chip on their shoulder and more to prove. i'm thinking back to recent hawai'i and notre dame blowouts. absolutely no business being there. the public deserves better. nobody wants a snoozer championship game. vegas always has it correct.

Vegas doesn’t pick the CFP final four. People who might possibly have agendas do. People who are immersed with their involvement with the “power 5”. And make money from it.

I read thru a lot of that, and watched tv reports on it and still don't know what UCF stands for?

    of course ...

vegas has their own criteria, that's why #4alabama is giving 3 on a neutral field tonight. i'll take their word for it. they are the truest. YMMV

He’ll be playing the big boys next season. His tune will change, but he won’t sniff the playoffs for a while at Nebraska.

True. How will his tune change? Don’t quite understand what you mean by that. True, he’ll need a few years at Nebraska to change to culture and th attitude.

Love to hear what he’d say if Nebraska was #5 and got left out because a Group of 5 team got in.

that game meant nothing. not literally, but tough for AU to get up for whereas UCF had nothing to lose. I am NOT a fan of Auburn

I think the counterpoint to this not well thought out thread is that a Group of 5 team will never get in, even if they go undefeated.

if they beat quality opponents [during the regular season] they could certainly get in. I believe the article said UCF had 1 win against a top 25 team
