Which overdrives have a bass control? I have an EL84 amp and many of the overdrives that I've tried don't have enough low end with this amp.

I'm currently using a BB but am curious what else is out there.

+1 to the bad monkey. I'm lovin it, and I have a modded SD-1 and a DGTM, plus the Boss OD-20 (which actually has a "bottom" knob for low-end shizzle). Honestly, it's amazing what hearing an OD that preserves your bottom end can do for your perceptions!

Xotic pedals. I just got a BB pre and it sounds excellent with my Bad Cat Cub IIR (EL-84s). The Pedalworx Cactus Crunch also has B and T controls.
The Damage Control Womanizer is another option -- bigger footprint, AC-only, and expensive, but incredibly versatile and toneful.

    Timmy.

A Hotcake has quite a lot of bass on tap - supposedly THE EL-84 OD to have.

Keeley BD-2 w/Phat switch has a lot of bottom end that can be turned on and off with the switch.

    Timmy...

If you want to get some really low tones, check out the Foxrox ZIM - best and most versitile EQ section in an OD I have used...

The new Expandora has a Guitar/Bass switch on it. It sounds huge with the Bass setting.

Colorsound Overdriver clones have bass and treble controls. I extended the frequency response of the bass and treble controls on my clone the the Throbak Overdrive Boost. www.throbak.com

Other clones are made by Prescription Electronics, Pro Analog and /13.

This pedal gets close to many of the popular OD's (ts7/808, DS1, DOD 250, MT2, etc.), but always gives you 3 band EQ which really helps you fine tune.

Tim and Timmy have bass and treble roll off only. They start off flat and roll off as you turn the controls clockwise.

Ditto on the BB, which has never left its spot on my board. Just received my new Blackstone, another super keeper, which has quite a bit of bass available, and is tweakable.
