So, I think I'm overdriving my small stone and was wondering if modding it would fix any of that? I was thinking of getting a TBP and LED mod done by analogman.

what do you mean by 'overdriving?' is it breaking up somehow on it's own?

When I have it engaged, I seem to be overdriving the actual circuit, which I've heard is possible in phasers.

FWIW this is one from the 70s

I had that on old '80 Small Stone. I loved it as I could not get that out of any newer made Phaser.

I don't think a TBP mod would work on that except if you trying to get rid of the sound it is making while disengaged.

It's cool, but sometimes it bugs me... guess I just gotta learn to dial back on the volume knob just a bit when I'm going to use the phaser.
