    Hello everybody

Do you own multiple pedals of the pedal?
Just for the case something is broken and can't be fixed?
Or because you scared that the pedal is no longer available in the future?

In my case it's the Timmy. I love this pedal and it's perfect with my amps. I own three Timmy's now.
It's hard to get these pedals in Germany and if something go wrong with it, I have two others.
    Stupid, I know!!! :D

    Sooooo...
Let me know what is your pedal and why!?!?

.... and give me a good feeling that I'm not alone! :D

I have only done that a few times - but I certainly get the idea behind it.
    Makes sense to me.

If a certain pedal is a big part of your sound - good idea to have a spare :)

Yes, I'm in the process of rehousing a madbean 8ball, I've built and modded a general guitar gadgets bluesbreaker, and I've got a rullywow queen of bone (king of tone + charge pump on same pcb) that's almost finished.

You could say I quite like bluesbreaker style pedals lol.

2x MXR Vintage Script Distortion Reissue
I believed in their marketing as they THOUGHT all of these pedals were sold in 2011 but they FORTUNATELY found a few boxes after Dunlop bought MXR and relocated the warehouse. I totaly bought this tale and ordered them international because the local distributor said "only expensive custom order". A few weeks after the international order which went very wrong I finaly received them and noticed that at this time the local stores had them in stock for the same price...
Doesn't matter, these are great pedals and I will get a lot of money for them in about 80 years.

    It Isnt stupid!!

I have at least several pedals in this class.

    Kyle Chase EP3 Secret Preamp.

    I have a 2004 Analogman White Dot Low Gain NKT275 Sunface/Sundial.

2 or so years ago AM ran out of the Wht Dt Low Gain NKT275's and stopped making the pedal for over a year.

AM found some more chips and started production again.. Until they run out again. Then they will be gone.

I use this "Fuzz" as a Low/Medium gain boost to my 69 Fender Dual Showman and also drive it with a Timmy if I want more gain out of it.

But I run it Clean as I can and back the volume of the guitar off and it is really clean.

I like to stack this with a Kyle Chase EP3 Secret Preamp. It has both an early 70's and Late 70's EP3 preamp in 1 small box. It has a Toggle switch for selection.

These are expensive and were even more expensive when AM ran out of Low Gain NKT's. This pedal will keep its value.

I also have 3 of the Limited Edition Moog MF104M Super Delays. I use 1.

I've got to MXR 10 band EQ pedals. I have two boards, and I had to have it on both, cause it is crucial to my sound/tone.

I play in two bands. Because my board is very modest, I leave my gig board for each band at the rehearsal space for each. Then I have the same board at home. And because the DD-2 is out of production, I have an extra on the self of them.

    So:

    - 3x Rat (87-88 model)
    - 4x DD-2
    - 3x OD250 (the new reissue)

I use either the OD250 or the Rat, depending on the show. I don't have an extra of either on the shelf because even though the Rat I prefer is out of production the 250 honestly works just as well, so I don't really need a backup.

    Sigh.

I've got a soul food for each of my boards. Love it for a solo boost after the drives.

Came over another AMT fatal tube pedal on ebay and thought to myself not too often i see these on sale, so i bought it. I have this approach on discontinued pedals i favour in general. Fortunately I don't dig alot of old pedals :)

4 Xotic EP Boosters. I like these at the start and end of pedal boards. They sound great with guitar or synths as a boost and for coloring. I'll have to checkout the Kyle Chase EP3! So that's where the super delays went! :p

I own two of nothing. I guess if I had the money I would have the same model guitar, amp, speakers, and effects at home and the practice space.

I can assure you this, if a pedal went bad at one location it would disappear from both boards. I would not replace it, I don't care how great it sounds. I have no room for unreliable equipment.

At the same time? I guess you can put buffers in that category for me, since I do have a standalone T1m one, but I think a few of my pedals have their own hiding in there as well. The same goes for boosts- my wah, compressor, DMM and my CE-1 have controllable volumes for instance.

I've owned multiple, but not at the same time.

    5x Liverpool
    5x Carbon Copy
    4x Echorec
    2x Lots of others

I'm a minimalist and trade them around a lot.
