Man, had no idea it was that close to you guys. I don't really watch the news, and just found out about the fires on Monday or Tuesday. Glad you guys got out safe and your place is safe too. Natural disasters suck, but at lease you had your priorities straight (guitars, Helix, dog, etc...). Haha. We've had a plan in place, and "go bags" few years now (since 2008 or so). It's not wrong to be prepared. World is CRAZY right now. Glad you're safe!

Wow, glad you're safe. I was evacuated a few years back when we had a big fire destroy 700 houses in Colorado Springs. Not a fun experience.

    Stay safe!

    Reddit is leaking again…

    See above, ha.

Bouncing from Live is a nightmare. Definitely recommend a different DAW for sharing mixdowns.

If it gets too hairy in Temecula, let me know. You can couch surf at my place in Normal Heights. We lost power today at work for about an hour, but I think it was unrelated to the fires, although with all the stuff going on, it’s hard to tell. Need to check on my friends whose parents live in Bonsall in the morning. See how their farm/house has held up.

So we are getting about 4 inches a snow today in Georgia.

That's not something that happens too often.

Are you in north north GA?
Idk how many inches we’ll see here in metro Atlanta, but weather is showing snowing most of today!

Well the strat is currently my only guitar otherwise I'd definitely go SSS. Right now its HSH with Seymour Duncan single coil sized humbuckers. They're pretty muddy and I'm looking for more clarity (plus I miss having a classic strat neck pup).

Any chance a hot bridge single coil with a blender pot might be able to cop humbucker tones?

Is the whole city going to shut down like the last time it snowed real good in ATL? I'm in Nashville, I don't think we're gonna see any white stuff anytime soon. :(

Yeah, if we get a lot, we're totally not prepared for it. It becomes a big deal!

Yeah. Ellijay. It's coming DOWN. Haven't had this much in a very very long time. This year and last year were probably 20 year highs for snow.

@REDFIVE that's a great deal! I'd go for a white one instead of the 3TB if it was that good of a deal :)

Based on that start date, it's probably a '14. I think the start date on mine was about the same, and mine was completed in Feb. '14.

Either way, that's a great deal on a great guitar! Congrats!

I read in one of the messages somewhere that they can add the SSCII after the fact? Worth pondering .. But I've heard these are pretty quiet anyways

This is so insane for GA. I’ve lived here for around 17 years now and I’ve never seen this!
A couple pics I just took:

I’m sure they could, but it wouldn’t be cheap! And they need to swap the pickups.
The pickups aren’t all that noisy, really. Of course you have to watch out for electrical sources that can cause hum and high gain will bring it out, but you should be fine.

We got 8” last night. No school closings or delays. Western NY has the whole snow thing down pat.

And summer here is the best season anywhere. If you disagree, as usual, SURPRISE!!!! You’re wrong!
