Just got a PDI-09 as a quick and easy way to "mic" my amp in small spaces where there's not much room to have a mic stand and mic on my amp but need just a little guitar presence in FOH. Reading through the manual, I got the impression I coul use my pedalboard overdrives as preamps and plug the end of my pedalboard chain into the input of the PDI-09 and DI using the XLR out to the desk. Would the board have enough juice to drive the signal? I know it might not sound ideal but is this usable? Anyone done this before?

It will work with your pedals, just set the attenuation to 0 db to drive the mixer.

Great! I'll have to give it a go and see if it would be viable for some small live things
