Here's a pic of a V32H with some better looking knobs (IMHO) if someone wants to see what some cream colored chicken head knobs look like on one.

Nice addition to a sweet little tone machine! Do the buttons get in the wat of the pointer? Bob

I think the one near the bass control did a little - I just tightened the set screw holding it where it would clear. They are all close but no problems setting the knob on the shaft so it clears. I also put a small length of shrink tubing over each shaft before the knobs went on. The shafts are a lot smaller diameter than what the knobs were designed for and it helps center the shaft in the knob's brass insert better when the set screw is tightened.

I wonder what the same knobs in a couple of shades darker cream color would look like. Those look more to the white side, not bad though.

I can't find a darker variety. The ones I used I had laying in my future projects bin so I didn't have to search for any new ones. They come in a lot of colors but this is the most I've found.

Are the ones on the amp now in the picture above between the red and blue?

    That's the white one.

The cream is between the yellow and green and are the ones on the amp.

Never being one to leave well enough alone I started to think the chicken heads looked a little crowded so I may stay with these Roland amp knobs. Or not...

I thought they make mini-chicken head knobs?

Come to think of it it looks as if the knobs are so close the pointers might interfere with each other using the chickenheads? Bob

They cleared the circuit buttons and each other OK for their full rotation but it was "crowded" as I described - the more I compared the look of the chickens and a smaller knob like the ones in the last picture I'm liking the smaller ones better.

I like the chickenheads. I see what you mean about looking crowded but it doesnt bother me so much. From the picture it almost looked as if you couldnt have two adjacent knobs with the pointers facing each other without interfering. If thats not the case I may try them myself. Bob
