Kickass!!! Set your DVR, pretty good rock show. She can still belt it out, a few problems getting all the way up to the high notes, but that's to be expected after 35 years. She still sounds great, though.
    And he flat out rocks!

Neil is always spot-on, playing just what each song calls for.

I watched most of this last weekend. Had seen Pat and Neil circa 1980/81 at the old Cape Cod Coliseum I think it was. I remember it as a great show, very powerful voice (especially for someone the size of a pixie doll). Some jackass ran up onstage and headed for Patty. Neil ran over and kicked the guy in the ass just before security dragged the idiot away, all the time never missing a beat on the BC Rich. Classic rock.

He played one guitar the whole show, some old beat up red Guild. And had 3 JCM 900s onstage. Sounded great!
She had some minor pitch issues, but, oh well. Still sounded great to me. Hell of a big voice on that little lady. Nice stage presence, too. I really enjoyed watching her sing.

    :edited for JCM 900s

    I watched it last Sunday.

It was a great show, I did not even recognize Giraldo because he evidently
now dresses like a greaser, and has let his hair go gray. He even wore two
tone saddle oxford shoes, like he was in a rockabilly band.

I saw Pat in 1980 as well, great show then also.

I watched the two of them perform the NPR Tiny Desk Concert recently. I think she did take some shortcuts to avoid her heyday upper register notes, but what surprised me was Neil's playing. Not great, imo.

I just watched a little of that, for one thing it was all acoustic, and she wasn't having a very good day. :D

The AXS concert is much better.

I noticed that not only is Neil looking more like a greaser but he added Bigsby trems to his BC Rich guitars! Talk about different!

Great player, he plays great keyboards too (see Rick Derringer's "Guitars and Women" record for proof) and his wife can sing like an angel.

I personally witnessed her thanking everyone profusely after a soundcheck at the Minnesota State Fair. Instead of "Okay, we're good, thanks everybody" it was like she wanted to personally thank everyone on the sound and lighting crew, the State Fair staff, everyone. What a sweetheart.

I haven't experienced it personally, but she may have been trying to make up for Neil's soundcheck behavior, which is notorious amongst sound crews, the nation across.

He and Cat Power get brought up over and over...

Just saw this show and I had forgotten how many kickass songs those two and done. Geraldo absolutely strangled the **** outta that guild! The effects he does with nothing more than his hands should be a teaching dvd all by itself. They say Andy Summers and the Edge are "texturalists" in their plaing stlye, Geraldo wrote the ****ing book on that!

Is he playing to a guitar backing track/loop though - listen/look at 1:09 to Love is a Battlefield:

That isn't delay is it, as there is a chord change there without him playing unless I am mistaken? There are a couple other instances later in the vid.

With that said - great player - He is rocking. Like the more upfront guitars on this version of battlefield, but you can never have too much guitar...

Sometimes there are continuity errors in post production but this seems pretty true to what went down live versus some elaborately edited final product.
