I am a worship guitarist and I want to use amp distortion. I have this idea about patching my delay and reverb in after the Mic but before the house board and speakers. I know I would at least need to have a direct box to convert slr into 1/4 inch, but will I need anything else ? My signal would be: guitar > compressors , boost , light od , eq , wah , etc. > amp , (pre amp , power amp) full cabinet > one Mic >. Direct box , mini mixer , >. Delay and reverb. >. House board and house speakers .

Will I need anything else? Will anything be lost as far as tone , clarity . I would keep the direct box in the iso box with my amp . My pedal board will still hold all of my pedals ,but I will need more cables.
