No, the boost only works when the Tim effect is engaged. If the pedal is bypassed but the boost is on, you will hear no effect, but as someone mentioned earlier, you can set it up this way so that one stomp (the bypass switch) turns on the boosted Tim effect, which can be useful.

That's alright, I'm still convinced enough to call up Paul C right now and get on the list. :D

Hmm.... so the boost like a Fulltone FD-2 boost. By the way, very nice demo!

well, not really...the tone control makes it a lot more useful and versatile. no mud.

props to jzucker for first youtube demo of PaulC stuff that doesn't suck...in fact it's AWESOME!

maybe a part IV sometimes demoing the versatility/interactivity of gain and eq section?

Thanks for the demo! The TIM really sounds great. The Grosh sounds wonderful with the Lollars as well.:BEER

Another good one Jack... mind if I ask what amp all these clips are run through? And what did you have the FX loop of the TIM?

The first 3 were done with a Kingsley D30 through a 2x12 reinhardt cab with a weber blue dog and 1265. The last one was done with an SDGVintage '64 vibroverb clone (15" jbl).

TRex reptile in the loop for some delay/mod.

The last one is a little buzzy to my ears too, I much prefer the first 3.

I've been trying to get a hold of him and get on that list for a while now...

Mr. Zucker's vid review of the TIM is very compelling, IMO.
