    Seriously?

    No Gilbert fans?

I know the 'shredder' is all but dead, however this dude has always been the real deal.

I love the guy! I haven't heard his latest album, thanks for reminding me to get it.

I love all the little lesson videos he's got all over YouTube, he's a great teacher as well as player. He really takes the time and thoroughly explain what he's doing as well as the concept behind what he's doing; I've learned a bunch of stuff from him in the past couple of days.
His web site is hilarious too.

He's incredible, from the shred days of racer x, to the foof that is Mr. Big, to solo work - always been a stand out.

    The opening tune is incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need to give it a few more listens---its great but I dont think its as good
as "Get out of my Yard". I think the songwriting is stronger on GOOMY and one of the reasons I like that album so much there's not much wanking on it---but a whole lot of great playing and melodies. There's a bit more wanking on the new one---but its still a stellar album. Gilbert is an awesome player and can play some really tasty stuff when he wants too.

LOVE IT!! I've got the CD and the Young Guitar DVD lesson.

Been playing the song - Norwegian Cowbell - my favorite track on the CD.
