I Tivo Letterman very night ........... mainly for the music. I saw Midon's performance a few days ago and was brought to tears by his shear talent! I played it for the rest of my band yesterday and they dug it too.

I like Letterman's remark about saving money on the Paul Shafer (sp?) horn section buy just hiring Midon.

The horn solo was kinda cool ,but nothing else grabbed me much.

This guy you might like too ,he does the prestonreed/hedges thing, musical multitasking on the guitar ,granted the vocals are not as smooth as pauls
