Music is a very potent voice for your ideas, make a movement, best of luck to you.
    What would "(over)correction" be?
I don't think you should fear a change of guard, Post-Modernism will have its place in the history of art like any other, replaced by something more vital and relevant for its time.
There's probably still some ghostly geezer out there trolling the Musee D'Orsay hoping to get a whack at Manet's Olympia.
    Hope we're not derailing.

I'm sure we ARE derailing, so we should probably shut it down. But what I mean by the over-correction... Politics flows downstream from culture.

Let's just leave it at that. Take care.

I think this might be better described as an artisan pedal rather than boutique. The bottom plate cutout should the experts laid out components and lead dress is very nice to see from a nerd perspective. Tone is almost irrelevant.

Because I’ve always enjoyed your posts consider this a gift . There’s one listed on Reverb now .
I would buy it ........but 2 children in private school and a wife I’m putting through University In Australia limit my expenditures somewhat .
Seller looks awesome and has fair pricing too .

Thanks for kind words and heads up.

Yep wasn’t there, then popped up. But @3waytie4last is Nostradamus for calling out the pricing....$200 over what the guy bought it for. Not complaining. If someone buys it, it’s all good.

I want a stompbox that's built into one of those RC helicopters so I can reenact Godzilla onstage.

Setting aside, for a moment, the fact that belief in irreducible subjectivity in the reception of art (and the equally subjective formation of "communities of sensibility") is at least as old as Kant's Critique of Judgment, and not the pure product of postmodernism...

    1. "Wang Swank" seems about right.
    2. I'll see your pretty birds and "I've always wanted you to admire my NOS capacitors" base plate, and raise you sliding antlers that might just puncture your foot:

I almost responded to a specific someone here but decided instead to simply state, generally, "Don't criticize what you don't understand."

Honestly, as a craftsperson myself, I find the mortise and tenon style joints in this pedal to be super sloppy and it would drive me nuts to look at it them.

Since I seem to be spouting off a lot in this thread, I wonder if this is aimed at me?

Not at all you! To the contrary, I find your input thought-provoking.

And with that, my work is done here! :)

I think you need to make pedals. I don't find this pedal to be attractive, but to each his own. I do kind of want a piss christ fuzz now though.

I do make pedals... in my head.

I spent so many years around the creation of CAE simulation and IC/PCD/conducted/radiated noise analysis tools. It's kinda embedded how I think.
I'm about to spend about 500$ on some OTC CAE software, but it's only so I can verify what my brain has already cooked up, passed through simulations and failure analysis and gone on to route as a PCB... but it's stuck in my head.
It's kinda like creating poetry, but not writing any of it down... for the past 20 years.

It's time for me to write some s!!t down, again.
Doing the design concepts for my COVID stuff convinced me .. I can't rely on anyone else to get some things right.
Sometimes, I just can't let go. Sometimes, I shouldn't. But often, I hold on to too much.
