How do these cabs sound with the stock speakers and how is the construction quality? Any owners?

Construction was good, but they are very heavy.

Sound quality was poor with anything but the 5150. I A/B'd them with a stock Marshall 4x12 and kept the Marshall.

    I hope this helps.

Yeah, the stock Sheffields sound pretty bad; I had the 5150 Combo that I cut off and turned into a head to plug into my Marshall cab.

Their casters also bend and become unusable after a few gigs. Then again, the Bogner cabs have horrible casters too at twice the price.

The one I have is built very well, it has been through hell and still rock solid. Mine didn't have the original casters so no comment on that one. The speakers in them sound pretty good. Not the typical celestion flavor but good in their own right. Good low end and a fairly smooth top. I would take one over a g12t75 Marshall cab any day. I usually use a 2204/2203 or Bogner XTC and it sounds good with all 3. A great value cab for gigging.
