Peavey Classic 30 Reverb Tank Replacement

My Reverb quit in my C30... I've heard the Accutronics 4EB2C1B is the replacement model for it... Can anyone either tell me if this is correct or a source were I can locate the information.. Peavey want's $54.00 for the tank... no way! also what's with Peavey's customer service person..you would have thought I sat on her breakfast bagel... real attitude..

Yep. That's the right one.

Are you sure it's the reverb tank that went out? They can go bad, but in my experience, if the reverb goes out, it's usually something else.

Not sure....that's the problem.. I can try and do some diagnostic on it... no broken wire or solder joints I can find...

just call the guys at antique electronics. they have tones of different ones to replace that tank ..

You can put a 9eb2c1b 3 spring in it!

Somebody might know: I can shake the amp and get that "thunderstorm" sound out of it...it isn't loud like when things are healthy..but I can hear it come through the speaker. I can also crank the reverb all the way up and here just a little of the tail.... Think I'm heading down the right direction on the tank?
