Guys, my DOD Chorus has suddenly started to play up.

Only on certain notes of the fretboard, it does strangled sounding and distorts, volume drops, always on the same few frets. I thinking something has failed that is now distorting in a certain part of the frequency spectrum.

What do you think it is? If its possible to test and replace myself, let me know what to do (i will get a multimeter).

    Thanks!

This sounds like a good ol fashioned case of diagnostics.
There isn't an easy way. Just the right way.

Obtain a schematic and begin diagnostics. You'll want a signal generator and an oscilloscope for this.

Unfortunately true, good thing is they can be had for 25 bucks on ebay. I would not bother and just buy another, they are great choruses but the way, I love mine.
