pedal power iso/fuel tank jr.

I have a reverse polarity pedal (compressor) that I think will do better on an isolated output.

I'm late to the pedal power party. Lots of threads. I've read them all, I think. Having to decide between the new Pedal Power ISO and the Fuel Tank Jr. I have a small board and the T-Rex is smaller.

Is there a difference in the guts of the two?

One thing you might want to consider is if you want to put up with the hardwired power mains cable on the Fuel Tank Jnr- I have 3 Jnrs and they do the job well but I prefer the IEC socket on the Voodoo Lab stuff

Yeah that is the main thing I would criticize the FTjr for. Other than that it is a great little power supply.

The builder said an isolated output isn't necessary for the reverse polarity pedal. Going to try and hang with the 1-Spot for a while longer. Hasn't posed a problem yet.

I actually like the attached power cord on my FT Jr., can't forget it if it's attached. For me, kinda goes with the grab and go simplicity of the unit/board..my FT Jr. is epoxied to the underside of my PT mini.
